First of all, you will need a high quality and very solid corkscrew. Wine bottles are capped by a cork to ensure that none of the essence or smell of the wine escapes the bottle and unwanted odors or airborne microbes enter the bottle. The cork is a bit too tight to be opened by your jaw and you will need a proper corkscrew which is meant for opening bottles sealed by corks. It is best to buy a counter top corkscrew. Make sure that the corkscrew has just the right weight, it should neither be too heavy nor too light.

Second thing you will need is a set of wine glasses. You are better off choosing general purpose wine glasses as opposed to what people suggest. You will notice people advising different glasses for red wine and white wine. The extreme ones will also advise you to choose a specific glass for a type of wine. So, for every type of wine you buy, should you buy a new set of glasses? No, you can get a set of general purpose glasses and use them. Just wash them properly before you pack them for storage.

Third thing you will need is a wine fridge. For home use, you can do with a small size wine fridge though a medium size fridge is the appropriate option if your finances permit. A wine fridge is required because unlike the normal refrigerator, wine fridge is specially designed to keep the conditions and temperature best for wine storage. It will be more expensive than your run of the mill fridge but a small size wine fridge is affordable and does the job in most cases.

Fourth accessory you will need is a wine chiller or an ice bucket. This is a complementary accessory for the wine fridge and is required when you have opened the bottle of wine and are enjoying it. Surely you would not want to run to fridge every time you want a refill. A good quality wine chiller must have the capacity to store enough ice after you have put in the bottle to keep the wine chilled and must have enough thermostat to ensure that ice does not melt fast.
